Overview

Our client is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to be a critical contributor in leveraging the Salesforce platform to drive key business initiatives, particularly focused on clean energy solutions. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level professional to deepen their expertise in Salesforce architecture and integration within a complex enterprise environment. The primary scope of this position involves designing, configuring, and maintaining the Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless integration with external systems, and delivering essential reporting to track operational metrics and KPIs. The ideal candidate will be adept at both technical administration and understanding how Salesforce supports core business processes.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce environments, which includes managing user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.

Develop and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automation using tools like Flow and Process Builder to align with business needs.

Develop Microsites within Salesforce and actively support the integration between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, such as billing portals, using REST APIs and integration tools.

Ensure data integrity and seamless workflows during system integrations and assist with data migration efforts using tools like Data Loader, Workbench, or ETL platforms.

Create, maintain, and manage custom reports and dashboards for business units to track Clean Energy Solutions initiatives and operational metrics.

Serve as a proactive problem-solver, identifying potential issues before they escalate and proposing well-thought-out solutions to improve existing processes and systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.

Strong practical experience with Salesforce configuration, including a robust understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security.

Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Lightning, Flow, and Process Builder.

Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, API) and experience working with APIs and data migration strategies.

Understanding of how Salesforce supports business processes such as sales, service, and marketing.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Holds relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Admin, Platform Developer I/II).

Experience supporting clean energy, sustainability, or utility sector projects.

Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Components for custom development.

Comfortable debugging Apex code and optimizing Flows and performance.

Experience working in complex Salesforce organizations with custom objects, automation, integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica), and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).

Experience with AppExchange solutions.
