Job Description Summary
The Heavy Duty Services Product Definition Engineering Manager for Accessories is a critical people leader role as part of the Configuration Management and Product Definition organization. This individual will lead a global team to transform HD services engineering design intent into product definition using advanced CAD technology and Model Based Engineering fundamentals. The team scope includes gas turbine, steam turbines, generator, and HRSG accessories. This role will also be the Configuration Management and Product Definition (CMPD) focal for Heavy Duty Services, serving as the single point of contact for all Services related support across the CMPD team. The leader will be a part of the Heavy Duty Services ITR Engineering extended staff.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $131,700.00 - $219,300.00 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
This position will stay open on the career website until at least June 7th, 2025.

Job Description
- Develop and execute strategy for the HD Services PDE team that is aligned with Engineering partners in the Heavy Duty Services organization.
- Lead the team to deliver innovative new product designs, including delivery of 3D CAD models, Bill of Materials and Drawings required for the build and installation process of services upgrades and modifications.
- Drive daily management rhythm focused on SQDC.
- Manage operating budgets and demand / capacity implementing proactive and strategic actions to align the team to execute the business needs.
- Work with third party contracting partners for quality and execution rigor.
- Serve as a coach, mentor and leader for direct reports and coordinate the global services PDE strategy with the global centers.
- As the single point of contact, coordinate all CMPD support for HD Services including configuration management, compliance, pillar tools, accessories, and flange to flange product definition.
- Inspire and motivate the team and invest in versatility and technical growth.
- Drive a direct impact to product margins by monitoring and taking action on estimate at completion (EAC) project profitability top drivers.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing organizations globally to align priorities and promote a "one team" environment.
- Effectively prioritize and resolve emergent issues for customers and supply chain.
- Promote continuous improvement through Lean.
- Drive visible harmonization with global CMPD teams including design, tools and processes.
- Drive a strong Quality Culture promoting a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Execute PAC/SN/NCN deliverables with a strong Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions
- Provide strong and proactive team representation during the NPI and Services Requisitions budget planning cycle.
- Lead Modeling standards and drive a strong adherence to design standards.
- Deliver innovation and optimization in support of the Digital Thread strategy through AR/VR, MbE and digital tools.
- Promote an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute and grow.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a STEM major
- 10 Years experience in power generation or similar industry
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience in accessories engineering design and/or accessories product or process experience
- Strong communication, presentation and organization skills
- Experience leading fast paced OTR and program/project execution team
- Demonstrated leadership and operations capability
- Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and with customers
- Proven ability to achieve business targets
- Experience leading, working across global teams and building partnerships
- Familiarity with NX / E3D /AutoCAD and Enovia or other PLM system
