Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our agile team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and other agile ceremonies. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach the team on agile practices and principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
  • Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure the team delivers high-quality features on time.
  • Promote transparency and communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Track and report key agile metrics to provide visibility into the team's progress and health.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that empowers the team to self-organize and make decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to agile best practices and compliance with organizational policies and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in an agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement.
  • Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
