Job Description
We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Talend Developer to support data integration and transformation initiatives for a healthcare-focused project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration and Talend Data Mapper, along with exposure to healthcare data formats and databases. This role is primarily remote with occasional travel as required by the project.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using Talend Data Integration
- Implement data mappings and transformations using Talend Data Mapper
- Work with healthcare data formats such as X12, XML, JSON, flat files, and Excel
- Perform data ingestion, transformation, and validation across multiple data sources
- Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to understand integration requirements
- Develop custom transformations using Java or Python when required
- Ensure data quality, performance, and compliance with healthcare data standards
- Support debugging, issue resolution, and performance tuning of Talend jobs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 5 years of experience in Talend development
- Strong experience with Talend Data Integration and Talend Data Mapper
- Hands-on experience handling healthcare file formats (X12, XML, JSON, flat files, Excel)
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
- Basic to intermediate programming skills in Java or Python
- Understanding of ETL concepts, data validation, and error handling
- Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the Healthcare domain
- Exposure to HIPAA-compliant data handling
- Experience supporting payer, provider, or healthcare data integration projects
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud environments
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
