Key Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare and file tax returns for small businesses and individual clients.
Assist clients with payroll processing and compliance reporting.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Collaborate with clients to address financial inquiries and provide expert guidance.
Stay current with tax laws and accounting best practices.
Support senior accountants with additional accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Strong knowledge of small business and individual tax preparation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Minimum of 2 years' experience, strong working knowledge of small business and individual tax return preparation.
Nice to Haves:
CPA license
