Role: Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Remote Role

W2 Contract Position

JD:

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer skills: Candidate must have hands on experience in Azure technologies and be able to collaborate and support multiple product teams. Candidate will participate in scrum meetings and must be able to adapt to change, with focus on value delivery with minimal day-to-day direction. Responsibilities will include implementing solutions for Azure Cloud, develop software for infrastructure automation and monitoring, ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the Azure platform, trouble-shooting production issues and performing on-call duties (24X7) on a rotation basis.

Cloud Engineer
This role is responsible for providing Cloud technical leadership to internal business lines and delivering
cloud solutions in a fast paced agile environment using the latest methodologies and infrastructure.
Candidate will have technical consultative role and must be able to collaborate and support multiple
product teams in defining Cloud solutions, implementing services and identifying risks to successful
implementations. Candidate will participate in scrum meetings and must be able to adapt to change,
with focus on value delivery with minimal day-to-day direction. Responsibilities will include implementing
solutions for Azure Cloud, develop software for infrastructure automation and monitoring, ensuring success in
building and migrating applications, software and services on the Azure platform, trouble-shooting production
issues and performing on-call duties.

Skills and Experience:
5+ years of software engineering and development, including requirement definition, software
development, integration, installation, maintenance and testing with languages like C#, Java, JavaScript in
Windows and Linux environments
3+ years working experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS
Basic understanding of HTML and GUI web interfaces with AJAX and JavaScript
Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SMTP, HTTP, load-balancers, high availability architecture, zero
downtime production deployments
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers

Desired:
Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
Experience with Visual Studio team Services (VSTS), Service Now,
Experience using GitHub, Chef and/or Jenkins
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
Experience with DevOps and Agile practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
(CI/CD) pipelines
