Job Description
The Strategic Project Manager's responsibilities will include:
- Managing large projects (sometimes multiple projects) and seeing them through from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner
- Developing and maintaining project plans
- Regularly communicating with Project Team to provide guidance, direction and support
- Plan, organize and host in-person project meetings with the Project Team and Stakeholders
- Communicate project progress, potential obstacles and recommended solution to management Team
- Develop and organize project documentation - working with Business Process Analysts, User Experience Designers, Product Owners, and Implementation Specialists
- Define quality standards for project deliverables and ensure that standards are met as project proceeds towards completion
- Working with the IT team, and other teams across the organization to manage a variety of projects across multiple disciplines.
- Understanding detailed project requirements and how the project supports the overall strategy of the company

The Successful Applicant
The successful Strategic Project Manager candidate will have:
- 3+ years experience as a Project Manager
- Experience leading large projects as a Project Manager from start to finish. Preferably at least 2!
- A background as a Business Analyst prior to moving into a Project Manager position
- The ability to manage multiple projects at one time and successfully delivering projects on time
- Willingness to adopt new technology and build technical skills to support development of business solutions
- Clear communication skills and the ability to communicate with executive level stakeholders
- SQL, Power BI, and data analytics skills and an overall understanding of IT systems is beneficial. No development experience is required.
