Principal SDET (Heavy Java Coding)

Work closely with the Agile team members to drive the team's commitments to quality

Write test plans and execute them for new features and applications

Build automation test framework and tools

Build and execute API and GUI automation scripts

Generate and analyzing test reports

Quality inspections of test and development artifacts within the team

Track issues and work with developers to identify root causes

Drive and deliver quality control around CI/CD pipeline process and implementations

Provide technical guidance/coaching to developers on quality tasks

Provide an established record as a senior quality leader, quality driving a culture of quality

• 10+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automated testing environment.
• 4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
• 2+ years of experience with AWS products in a Linux/Window's environment
• Ability to work effectively with product management and software development
• Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Life-cycle using Agile principles
• Experience testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience testing API endpoints
• Automated REST API testing
• Automated GUI testing
• Experience in creating mock services to utilize microservice
• End to End Product testing and build/deploy experience
• Automated CI/CD pipeline execution and build tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Helm, Container base or similar
• Demonstrate a high level of motivation, confidence, integrity, and responsibility.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Leading the quality process for product development
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Virtualization (e.g., VMware), containers (e.g., Docker), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

Hands-on working experience with CI/CD pipeline and build tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Helm, Container base or similar

Hands-on working experience any with GUI / Web Automation Testing Tool (Selenium or similar).

Hands-on working experience of testing REST or SOAP APIs (Java, JUnit, NUnit, Web API, Etc.)

Hands-on experience with any of the following scripting languages: (C#, VB.Net, Java, HTML, and XML).

Hands-on working experience using any of the following tools (Postman, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.)

Hands-on years working experience in Unit Test/Coded UI Tests/Functional Test Development.

Experience using the Atlassian suite or any other source code management, defect tracking tools.

Experience with Virtual Server and System Configurations.

Basic working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD

Experience with QA techniques including black box, white box, and gray box approaches for smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance and exploratory testing.

Experience with the development of use cases, test scenarios and/or test plans.
