Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) with current and valid Network Rail CRE Accreditation to support ongoing railway infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience acting as a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) on Network Rail projects, bringing strong technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to delivering safety-critical engineering solutions to the highest industry standards.

- Serve as the Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) for assigned Network Rail projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and technical requirements.
- Lead the design, verification, and delivery of engineering solutions across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Review and approve design documentation, risk assessments, and method statements in accordance with Network Rail procedures.
- Liaise with Network Rail, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure technical alignment and project compliance.
- Oversee reliability, maintainability, and safety aspects throughout project lifecycles.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance to engineering teams.
- Drive proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement across project deliverables.
- Mandatory: Current and valid Network Rail CRE Accreditation.
- Mandatory: Proven experience serving as Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) on Network Rail projects.
- Solid technical background in railway network engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in design, implementation, or assurance.
- Deep understanding of Network Rail technical specifications, operational procedures, and safety-critical standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Location: Remote, with occasional travel to Reading or London office as needed.
- Work Authorization: Must have the right to work in the UK.
