Full Stack backend developer with Node.js

We are seeking a Node.js Backend Lead with above 10+ years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role. The candidate should have strong expertise in backend development using Node.js, hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms, solid exposure to Azure cloud services, and a deep understanding of API architecture. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development of backend services and APIs using Express.js and Node.js, with integration into eCommerce platform (like CommerceTools etc)
• Provide technical leadership to the development team, including mentoring, code reviews, and best practice enforcement.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of Agile delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of full-stack/backend development experience, with at least 6+ years in Node.js/Express.js.
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Team Lead.
• Experience working with eCommerce platform would be an advantage. (like Commerce Tools or similar headless commerce platforms (e.g., Elastic Path, SAP Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce headless).
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Experience working with cloud-native applications, preferably on Azure (Azure Functions, Azure App Services, etc.).
• Proven ability to lead solution design sessions and produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, and secure API practices.
• Experience integrating third-party services such as payment gateways, CMS, PIM, or search engines
