Responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and reporting data related to Engineering Operations. Produces complex, high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, measuring performance against objectives and identifying improvement opportunities. Consults directly with internal and external customers. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Our team partners with stakeholders across the business unit identify areas to reduce energy consumption, expenses & associated carbon emissions. We build tools to help operators understand their energy consumption and drive strategies that optimize consumption.

Primary Location Pay Range: $86,004.44 - $129,006.66
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. We build tools to help operators understand their energy consumption and drive strategies that optimize consumption.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Energy Data Analytics Activities
- Verify asset and electricity account data
- Implement corrective action plans to reconcile and maintain data integrity
- Support greenhouse gas emissions reporting efforts
- Produce actionable reporting to drive efficiency and automation efforts
- Drive Cross-Functional Tools Commonality
- Develop and implement data governance
- Align tools data sets to common source data
- Communicate data reconciliation efforts
- Drive Operating Expense Conservation
- Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders to optimize energy spend
- Track and report savings
- Research predicted rate changes for budgeting/forecasting
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; or equivalent experience in cable network powering systems.
- Extensive knowledge of cable network operations.
- Strong understanding of utility company rate structures.
- Strong data analytics skills, including ability to mine data from multiple sources.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CDCP, DCEP, LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent.
Strategic Impact:
- Operational Efficiency: Drive energy and cost savings through utility rate auditing.
- Risk Mitigation: Reduce downtime and maintenance through end-to-end lifecycle governance of power consuming assets.
- Future-Readiness: Align source data with consideration of long-term enterprise architecture goals.
