Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot complex network & security related issues
  • Evaluate, design, deploy, and maintain primary networking infrastructure
  • Monitor existing systems for potential problems and areas for improvement
  • Recommend products and technologies to be added to the environment in order maintain a secure, stable and reliable network & security solution
  • Produce and maintain accurate and clear documentation
  • Work with field personnel as well as customer personnel in remote locations to install and maintain firewalls & switches.
  • Effectively communicate with non-technical personnel who are sometimes required to act as remote hands to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Participate Customer Site Reliability planning and testing
  • Effectively communicate step by step instructions to other internal team members through Confluence.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to present clearly in a group setting

  • 7-10 years of elated experience working with large scale, complex networks

  • Advanced knowledge of network equipment including but not limited to:

  • Juniper EX switching platform

  • Juniper SRX firewalls

  • Complete understanding of IKE & IPSEC-VPN

  • Dynamic Routing Protocols including OSPF and BGP, both internal & external

  • Understanding of Juniper firewall policies using CLI

  • Knowledge of communication protocols and rule set implementation

  • History of maintaining large-scale, complex network of firewalls, routers and switches at the data center level
