Informatica MDM Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end MDM initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of MDM tools (specifically Informatica), and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring that MDM strategies align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

   • Lead and manage multiple Informatica MDM projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope.

   • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

   • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

   • Develop detailed project plans and schedules, track project progress, and adjust as needed to meet project objectives.

2. Stakeholder Management:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications between business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.

   • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project deliverables and timelines.

   • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects to define project requirements and solutions.

3. Risk and Issue Management:

   • Identify potential risks and issues impacting the project and develop mitigation strategies.

   • Proactively resolve any challenges to maintain project momentum and ensure timely delivery.

4. Team Management:

   • Build and lead a project team, providing direction, motivation, and support to team members.

   • Ensure effective collaboration among cross-functional teams (business, IT, and external vendors).

5. Quality Assurance:

   • Monitor the quality of deliverables to ensure they meet established standards and customer expectations.

   • Ensure that all MDM processes and tools, including data governance and data quality, are implemented effectively.

6. Budget and Resource Management:

   • Manage project budgets, ensuring resource allocation and cost management are within scope.

   • Manage staffing needs and coordinate resource allocation across different project tasks.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

   • Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, scope, timelines, and status reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing large-scale Informatica MDM projects (5+ years).

• Strong project management experience with a solid understanding of MDM principles and technologies.

• Excellent understanding of data management concepts, data governance, and data quality.

• Strong knowledge of the Informatica MDM suite, including Informatica MDM Hub, Informatica Data Director, and related tools.

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and analytically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster).

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality.

• Familiarity with cloud-based MDM solutions (e.g., Informatica Cloud MDM).
