Project Manager 1Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Manager for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be seven months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary:
This role involves direct handling of highly confidential project materials and requires strict adherence to data governance and confidentiality standards.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Purpose of the Team: The project manager will support the Cloud Decommissioning Program by coordinating day-to-day operational tasks related to data centre and decommissioning activities.

Manage and track project milestones for data centre closure and decommissioning efforts, ensuring alignment with internal PMO schedules and reporting requirements.
- Utilize systems such as Stratus (Decom POR management tool) and DC closure tools to support project execution and documentation.
- Handle and maintain materials that may include confidential and highly confidential information related to data centre decommissioning.
- Manage SharePoint repositories and project artifacts associated with decommissioning projects.
- Produce and maintain deliverables and closure evidence required for compliance and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with internal program managers, finance, and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely project status tracking and deliverable completion.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate has experience in large-scale infrastructure or data center programs, with strong skills in project management, documentation control, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with decommissioning, asset lifecycle management, or compliance-driven operations is preferred.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
- 1-2 years of experience with project management, coordinating complex, cross-functional technical or operational projects.
- 1-2 years of experience with data center or infrastructure program support, working with decommissioning or operational closure programs.
- 1-2 years of experience with tools such as Stratus, SharePoint, Excel, and Power BI for managing documentation, reporting, and compliance deliverables.
