Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst specializing in PeopleSoft to join our team. As a PeopleSoft Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and work with cross-functional teams to translate these requirements into effective PeopleSoft solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PeopleSoft applications and modules, along with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to PeopleSoft applications and modules, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Management (FSCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Campus Solutions.
  2. Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and recommend PeopleSoft-based solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  3. System Configuration and Customization: Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into system configurations, customizations, and enhancements within the PeopleSoft environment, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
  4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts for user acceptance testing of PeopleSoft applications and modules, coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders, and ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  5. Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials to support the implementation, maintenance, and usage of PeopleSoft solutions.
  6. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, IT teams, and project managers, to provide updates on project status, gather feedback, and address concerns or issues related to PeopleSoft implementations.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new features within the PeopleSoft ecosystem, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, system optimizations, and enhancements to drive business value.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2 years) as a Business Analyst specializing in PeopleSoft applications.
  • Deep understanding of PeopleSoft modules and functionalities, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with business process analysis, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and data analysis tools for extracting and analyzing data from PeopleSoft databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
