Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Support Technician with hands-on experience in laptop deployment, configuration, and imaging. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and setting up end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, and iPads, while managing support tickets and maintaining accurate deployment records.
Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and peripherals for end users.
Perform basic imaging and re-imaging of systems using standard deployment tools (e.g., MDT, SCCM, or equivalent).
Set up and configure iPads and mobile devices, including user profiles, email accounts, and security settings.
Manage and respond to assigned tickets within the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Assist with asset management, including tracking hardware inventory and maintaining accurate records in spreadsheets.
Collaborate with other IT staff to support hardware refresh projects and system rollouts.
Ensure devices meet company security and compliance standards before deployment.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or hardware deployment.
Familiarity with Windows OS imaging tools and basic system configuration.
Experience with iPads/iOS device setup and mobile device management (MDM) preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
