Position: Senior OIPA Configuration and Integration Specialist

Location: Remote

Mode Of Hire: 1+ year Contract

Mode Of Work: Remote

The Expertise You Have

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience in Oracle recordkeeping technology like Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) config, maintenance and extensions.
  • Expertise in developing policy administration systems using Oracle Insurance Policy Administration System (OIPA), including configuration language, integration, AS Files, data intake, building OIPA extensions, performing palette and application security implementations, and release management.
  • Proven hands-on experience in software development using Java, Tomcat, Spring Boot.
  • Design and develop Java based application programming interfaces (API's) through SOAP and Restful web services to improve back-end performance of applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying applications using Docker containers on AWS infrastructure, specifically leveraging EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and RDS (Relational Database Service).
  • Skilled in configuring Kubernetes resources such as Pods, Services, Deployments, and ConfigMaps to ensure efficient application deployment and management.
  • Experienced in implementing Kubernetes best practices for security, monitoring, and logging, as well as utilizing Helm for package management and automating CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation with CI and CD pipelines including Unit, Component, Functional, Performance, and Security test automation.
  • Proven experience working with sql and no-sql databases such as Oracle database and PL-SQL.
  • Ability to provide automation solutions to support all possible data scenarios.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Bonus skills

  • AWS Certified Developer Associate / Architect is a big Plus.
