Roles and

Responsibilities

• Gather Performance Testing Requirements
• Understanding the non-functional requirements from business requirements
• Proficient in different types of performance testing (Stress, Volume, Load, etc.) to align the business requirements in Performance test models.
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability
• Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
• Analyse test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Team Player to work in collaboration across multiple teams
• Can groom other new team members on similar mindsets
• Experience in identifying bottlenecks and performance tuning
• Very good debugging capabilities
• Open to open-source community
• Should be able to gather metrics to benchmark applications performance for reference
• Track/monitor risks and communicate them to the team in a timely fashion
• Should be motivated and self-driven

Experience &

Skills

• Hands on experience in performance testing tools like JMeter /LoadRunner
• Knowledge and experience in monitoring tools like prometheus, Grafana is must
• Good understanding of protocols of HTTP/HTML, Web Services
• Experience in API testing
• Experience in profiling will be an added advantage.
• Experience in basic AWS infrastructure will be an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing the scenarios
• Experience with Continuous integration with Performance Testing
• Excellent analytical skills to dig deep in performance issues at various levels including DB, Application, infrastructure.

Qualifications

BE, BCA, MCA. MTech, MSc and BSc degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, other related technical degrees
