This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution. The ideal candidate will lead daily stand-ups, drive accountability within the team, and contribute directly to the development lifecycle. This role is onsite in Madison, WI. No relocation is offered.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of six developers.

Facilitate and run daily stand-ups (9 am CST) ensuring deliverables are met.

Drive both strategic planning and hands-on project execution.

Implement processes to prevent missed steps in release cycles.

Partner with stakeholders to manage projects for large enterprise and mid-sized clients.

Contribute to new initiatives, including AI integration and ERP modernization.

Ensure strong communication and accountability across the team.

Technical Environment

Microsoft-centric stack

.NET 8 and modern full-stack development

APIs (REST/SOAP)

ERP systems (transitioning toward Salesforce and NetSuite GL)

Must-Have Skills:

10+ years of overall .NET experience, including leadership/project lead.

Full-Stack Development background (50% new development/greenfield, 50% maintenance and support).

Exposure to AI concepts, tools, or development.

Strong API experience (REST/SOAP).

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Nice to Have:

Salesforce or NetSuite GL experience.

AI hands-on development or training experience.
