Role: Eagle Business Systems Analyst

Location:Boston, MA (Onsite - Locals)

Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:

Overview:
The Eagle BSA will use discretion and judgment to analyze business needs, gather requirements, and deliver technology solutions within Eagle Investment Systems. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, this role converts business requirements into functional specifications, ensures proper system implementation, and supports data integrity, accessibility, and quality across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Portfolio Accounting, Data Integrity, and Performance teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with IT, QA, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Ensure accuracy in data processing through checks, reports, and integration of data from multiple sources.
• Maintain data standards for accessibility, quality, and integrity.
• Create business documentation and training materials.
• Support application and production environments as needed.
• Follow SDLC processes to ensure compliance before code release.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 5+ years' experience in financial services, preferably buy-side technology.
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of investment data.
• Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives asset classes.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on experience with Eagle products (PACE database, STAR Accounting).
• Experience with Eagle Web Panel Designer and Message Center rules configuration.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Eagle Reference Data Center (RDC) and Performance Engine rules configuration.
• Systems integration project experience using Java and/or Informatica.
