We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our remote engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable software delivery at scale. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) for automated deployments.
Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Implement and manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, etc.).
Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to improve deployment strategies and reduce lead time.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex issues across dev, test, and production environments.
Requirements
10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Systems Engineer.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices.
Strong background in Linux system administration and networking.
Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
