Overview
Client is implementing a new financial system ( FIS / IBS) and needs an experienced PeopleSoft Architect to stand up the General Ledger (GL) module. My contact is their Director of IT
This is a hands-on architecture role not just design oversight. You ll help build, configure, and stabilize the GL environment, ensuring reporting, integrations, and best practices are applied from day one.

Client is implementing a new financial system ( FIS / IBS) and needs an experienced PeopleSoft Architect to stand up the General Ledger (GL) module. My contact is their Director of IT
This is a hands-on architecture role not just design oversight. You ll help build, configure, and stabilize the GL environment, ensuring reporting, integrations, and best practices are applied from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of PeopleSoft Financials (GL).
- Integrate PeopleSoft GL with FIS/IBS and related core banking systems.
- Establish best practices for reporting, reconciliation, and controls.
- Collaborate with finance and IT leadership to align architecture with client operating model.
- Provide hands-on technical and functional guidance to project teams.
- 10+ years implementing or architecting PeopleSoft Financials, with focus on General Ledger.
- At least one or two prior projects standing up PeopleSoft GL from scratch in a banking environment.
- Familiarity with FIS, IBS, or similar financial core systems.
- Strong understanding of reporting, controls, and audit within a regulated environment.
