Description

Engineer, develop, validate math- and physics-based algorithms for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) charge estimation, energy transfer and charging controls in embedded Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM) optimization techniques in embedded On Board Control Module (OBCM) for global electric vehicles, using MATLAB and Simulink models, autogenerated code in C, and in Embedded C programming language, using Git, Model Development Kit (MDK), Gerrit, Jenkins, PacMan, ETAS INCA, and Artifactory tools, following Scaled Agile Frame (SAFe) methodology. Design, validate, amd debug control strategies related to V2H (Vehicle 2 Home), V1G/V2G (Vehicle to Grid), and time of day charging. Develop software for On Board Control Module (OBCM), following Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) CERT C standards, to select efficient and optimal vehicle operation to meet battery charging and discharging using advanced control algorithms including linear and nonlinear System Control, Feedback and FeedForward Control, Adaptive Control, Optimal Control, Robust Control, steady state optimization, and state estimation techniques, in Embedded C programming language, using Eclipse IDE, MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and ETAS INCA tools.

Additional Description

Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: developing and maintaining control algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink for autogenerated code in C programming language to meet specified controls and function requirements.
