RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Casino Systems Administrator. This role will have flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred
* Valuable certifications include CompTIA Security+, CCNA (networking), GLI Certifications (gaming technology standards), and Microsoft Certified
* Relevant experience in gaming technology, IT infrastructure management, or a related field, preferably within the gaming or hospitality industry
* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols (TCP/IP), and security standards
* Proficiency in managing servers (Windows Server, Linux) and operating systems
* Familiarity with database systems (SQL Server, Oracle) and data integrity practices
* Expertise in casino management systems such as Konami and Bravo systems, along with slot machine software and player tracking systems
* Understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection software, data encryption, and security protocols
* Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is increasingly valuable
* Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively under pressure.
* Deep understanding of local and federal gaming regulations and their impact on IT systems
* Knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR
* Clear and practical communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders (ship operations, shoreside operations, leadership, and vendors)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
* Meticulous attention to detail in system configurations, documentation, and compliance processes to prevent errors and ensure accuracy
* Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, regulations, and operational demands in a dynamic environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
