Associate Design Development Engineer

We're seeking an Associate Design Development Engineer with a strong foundation in email marketing and a passion for design and technology. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience coding email campaigns, is proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and is eager to explore new design software and development tools. This role involves creating dynamic print and digital communications, including emails, voice broadcasts, and SMS campaigns, by combining graphic design skills with HTML and conditional logic. You'll collaborate across departments in a fully remote environment, ensuring projects meet strict standards and deadlines. • Prepare, create, launch, verify, and oversee email campaign development through to completion.
• Develop print and digital documents using Adobe design software, ensuring compliance with brand standards and industry best practices.
• Create multimedia campaigns for interactive voice broadcasting (IVR) and SMS using vendor platforms.
• Format and merge data dynamically using HTML, Adobe products, and internal programming tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather project requirements and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Translate technical information into clear, understandable content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Learn and adhere to internal workflows, processes, and quality standards.
• Identify and escalate any project roadblocks or delays proactively.

• 2+ years of academic or practical experience in email marketing and/or Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in:
  
  
  
  
  • Front-end and back-end development for email campaigns
  • Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Typesetting, layout design, and prepress formatting
  • Managing iterative development cycles under tight deadlines
  
  
• Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and learn new software quickly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track complex project elements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences

• Experience with mail merges or data integration for print
• Web design familiarity or experience
• Handling confidential data (e.g., HIPAA, financial information)
