Position Summary:
The Serialization Associate will play a key role in managing and overseeing the serialization process within the warehouse. This position ensures that all products are accurately labeled and tracked in compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will work closely with the IT Team, the inventory control team, warehouse operations, and other departments to maintain product traceability and ensure proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve issues related to serialization, including mislabeling, system discrepancies, or damaged items. Work with other teams to implement corrective actions as needed.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate regular reports related to serialized inventory, discrepancies, and any other data required for reporting and compliance.
Process Improvement:
Actively participate in initiatives to improve serialization processes, reduce errors, and enhance operational efficiency.
Serialization & Labeling:
Ensure products are accurately serialized with unique identifiers such as 2D barcodes, QR codes, or serial numbers as per company and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Verify the quality and accuracy of serialized items before they are shipped or received. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., FDA, GMP, DSCSA) and internal procedures for serialization and traceability.
Collaboration with Other Teams:
Work closely with the shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to ensure serialized products are properly handled at all stages of the warehouse process.
Process Improvement:
Actively participate in initiatives to improve serialization processes, reduce errors, and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications: Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in serialization, warehouse operations, inventory management, or similar roles, particularly in a regulated environment, is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Must have knowledge of SAP/SAP ATTP systems, and familiarity with other serialization software like Tracelink, LsPedia. Basic proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle complex tracking and labeling requirements accurately.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to quickly identify issues in the serialization process and work with cross functional team members to resolve them effectively.
Compliance Knowledge:
Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., DSCSA, FDA, GMP) related to serialization and traceability is a plus.
