Role: Veeva RIM Submission BSA
Location: Remote or onsite in Foster City, CA
Length: Long term rolling contract
Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience in biotech industry. Candidate will be a subject matter expert in Veeva RIM Submission module. Specifically, around Data Analysis, Data Cleansing and have extensive Integration experience. Knowledge of Veeva Rim Registration Module is a plus.
Submissions/Registration module and ideally Active Dossier experience
Job Description:
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including regulatory affairs, IT, and compliance teams, to understand data integration needs, regulatory requirements, and system dependencies.
- Data Mapping and Modeling: Analyze data structures and formats across different systems, including Veeva Vault, document management systems, regulatory databases, and external partners. Develop data mapping documents to define how data elements will be mapped, transformed, and synchronized between systems.
- Data Transformation and Cleansing: Implement data transformation rules and validation checks to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity during integration processes. Address data normalization, deduplication, and enrichment requirements to improve data accuracy and reliability.
- Error Handling and Monitoring: Define error handling mechanisms and exception workflows to address data integration failures, discrepancies, and data synchronization conflicts. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to track integration status, performance metrics, and data processing bottlenecks.
- Testing and Validation: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate data integration scenarios, data mappings, and system interoperability. Conduct integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing to verify data accuracy, system functionality, and end-to-end data flows.
- Documentation and Training: data mapping documents, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures for reference and training purposes. Conduct training sessions for end-users, administrators, and support teams to ensure proper usage and maintenance of integrated systems.
The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
