Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to provide end-to-end architectural leadership for enterprise application modernization initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in Azure Cloud architecture, hybrid integrations, data engineering, and security-first design, with a strong foundation in Java-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

Define and govern technical architecture across application, data, and integration layers
Design scalable hybrid architectures across on-prem and Azure cloud environments
Establish secure API and service frameworks using OAuth 2.0 / OIDC and encryption best practices
Architect modular applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST-based microservices
Design and optimize data pipelines and event-driven architectures (Azure Data Lake, Event Hub, Kafka)
Collaborate with data engineering teams on data flow, governance, and retention models
Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities for automation and predictive insights
Ensure performance, scalability, cost optimization, and security compliance
Partner with enterprise architects to align with cloud governance standards
Mentor engineering teams and lead architectural design reviews

Required Skills & Experience

10 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in architecture roles
Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Event Hub, Key Vault)
Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and microservices architecture experience
Experience designing data pipelines and streaming architectures
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and cloud-based AI services (preferred)
Strong understanding of enterprise security, identity, and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
