Job Summary

Job Description

Lead and mentor the Business Systems Analyst, guiding strategic approaches to systems development and optimization. Ensure alignment with departmental goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable value to the Quality organization. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Set the strategic direction for business systems design and development across the Quality department. Lead initiatives to update, enhance, or develop new systems that support internal Quality users by serving as a liaison between business units and I/T deparment.
  • Act as the voice of the business in technology planning. Develop an annual I/T work plan aligned with business priorities and manage projects from concept through implementation, including design, testing, training, communication, and rollout.
  • Create high-level requirement specifications to support resource estimation and ROI analysis for proposed system enhancements or new functionality.
  • Collaborate with I/T Department to define design specifications, conduct testing, deliver training, and implement system changes.
  • Develop training materials and deliver structured training programs for internal Quality users. Conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure continued user proficiency.
  • Review and prioritize system change requests across all business applications.
  • Support cross-functional teams in demonstrating system capabilities to external partners and stakeholders, highlighting operational benefits and efficiencies.
  • Provide system administration and user support, including onboarding and access management for both internal and external users.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 3 years minimum of project management experience.

Additional

  • Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to successfully apply standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems with multiple variables.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Ability to apply concepts of algebra and business statistics.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$115,440.00 - $173,160.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
