Electrical Engineer
The Opportunity:
As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to development of automatic test systems, supporting avionic systems obsolescence mitigation projects and supporting the analysis and development for aerospace systems upgrades and modification. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to support the engineering sustainment lifecycle for complex aerospace platforms and systems.
At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to extend the serviceable life of existing systems through the introduction of new technologies and the development of new solutions and products. You role will support the upgrade and modification of aerospace systems and you will be involved in the entire sustainment and modification lifecycle. You will grow in your career in supporting qualification of solutions for use on weapon systems and in the development of technical documentation for the installation and use of the installed systems.
On our team, you'll work with the latest in digital engineering tools to develop digital twins, solid models and physics-based models in the development of solutions. You will use customer data to generate actionable information that drives decision making and support engineering tradeoffs as an optimum solution is defined. You'll work with sophisticated laboratory test equipment and tools to test and evaluate the systems you support. You'll directly impact the United States Air Force by extending the life of existing weapon systems, the insertion of new technologies to enhance existing capabilities and the development of new systems that provide brand new capabilities. We'll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in electrical and electronic engineering while broadening your skillset into areas like advance circuit design, machine learning and application of narrow artificial intelligence.
Join us. The world can't wait.
