Job Details

Worldwide Technology is looking for a VCF Architect. This job is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners.

Duration: 200 hours 5 weeks

Role: VCF Architect

Skillset: VCF

Location: Remote - CST hours

Scope: Architecture and Design (Phase 0)


Activities may include:

  • Conduct architecture and discovery workshops with client stakeholders
  • across infrastructure, networking, security, operations, and licensing.
  • Document VMware environment, including vCenter distribution, VM counts (~5,900 workloads), and monitoring dependencies (Turbonomic).
  • Develop target-state VCF 9.0 design including:
  • Management domain and initial workload domain design Appliance model selection
  • NSX Edge design considerations (centralized cluster, Edge placement, uplinks, IP schemas) VPC model analysis
  • Define integration strategy for existing vCenters into VCF 9.0.
  • Develop tool migration runbook to transition monitoring/optimization from Turbonomic to VCF Operations.
  • Define requirements for baseline dashboards in VCF Operations (capacity, rightsizing, compliance, utilization, showback).

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $100.00 to $110.00 per hourly on C2C. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
