Job Summary:
- Come join our team! We currently have an exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Tallahassee, FL for a Firmware Developer with 5 years' experience and highly skilled in C/C++ programming to work for a major Defense Contractor.
Job Description
- Developing and designing firmware (primarily C code) for electronic devices and embedded systems.
- Writing, testing, and debugging firmware code to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Integrating firmware with hardware components and optimizing the overall system.
- Troubleshooting and resolving firmware-related issues.
- Collaborating with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers to align firmware with product requirements.
- Staying up to date with the latest firmware technologies, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Highly skilled C/C++ programmer.
- 5 years' experience.
- Expertise with microcontrollers, board support layer.
- Expertise in debugging with IDEs such as Eclipse.
- Expertise in Linux, writing drivers.
- Experience with the Git repository tool.
- Familiarity with XYNC based SOMs.
- Familiarity or Expertise in VHDL.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering is required.
