Job Details

Title: SAP Integration Lead

Duration: 12 Months

Location: North Bethesda, MD (Hybrid)

Description:

The SAP Integration Lead ABAP is responsible for designing, developing, and managing SAP integration solutions using ABAP and related technologies. This role involves leading integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP modules and external systems, and providing technical leadership to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integration Design & Development

2. Lead the design and development of SAP integration solutions using ABAP, ALE, IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.

3. Implement interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP PI/PO, CPI.

Technical Leadership

1. Guide and mentor ABAP developers and integration specialists.

2. Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

Project Management

1. Manage integration projects from requirement gathering to deployment.

2. Coordinate with functional teams and external vendors for integration requirements.

Performance Optimization

1. Monitor and optimize interface performance and troubleshoot issues.

Documentation

1. Prepare technical specifications, interface design documents, and integration architecture diagrams.

Support & Maintenance

1. Provide post-implementation support and resolve integration-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Experience: 8+ years in SAP ABAP development and integration.

Technical Expertise:

1. Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs.

2. Expertise in ALE/IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services.

3. Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

4. Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage integration projects.

5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

6. Certifications: SAP ABAP or SAP Integration certifications preferred.

Nice-to-Have

1. Experience with S/4HANA and OData Services.

2. Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.

3. Exposure to API Management and Cloud Integration.

4. Experience: 12+ Years
