Title: Lead Engineer - Salesforce Development Team - Onshore / Offshore
Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Salesforce Engineer based near Boston, MA, to spearhead Salesforce development initiatives for a dental insurance client. This role will be hybrid, requiring in-office presence once a week at the Wellesley Hills office. You will lead a distributed development team (onshore/offshore), enforce code quality, and implement Salesforce-recommended development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Salesforce development lifecycle across Salesforce Cloud platforms (Salesforce Service Cloud)
- Coordinate with offshore teams (primarily based in Sri Lanka) and Onshore team in US Central/ Eastern area , need to ensure quality across deliverables
- Perform code reviews and enforce Salesforce development best practices
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to design scalable Salesforce solutions
- Ensure cloud-based development is aligned with enterprise standards
- Support in-house migration from external vendors to internal team structures
- Conduct quality checks for all development and enhancements
- Mentor junior developers and act as the technical lead for Salesforce-related initiatives
