SAP Project Manager (Procure to Pay)

Job Description:
The SAP Project Manager Procure-to-Pay Transformation will lead the successful delivery of projects focused on transforming the procure-to-pay (P2P) processes within the organization. This role requires expertise in SAP ECC and Ariba, with a proven ability to manage risks, develop detailed project plans, and engage stakeholders effectively. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of P2P transformation initiatives with business objectives, driving efficiency and value across procurement and payment processes.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution (40%)
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for P2P transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation of SAP ECC and Ariba solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution (25%)
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues that could impact project outcomes.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and minimize disruptions to project timelines.
- Maintain a risk register and provide regular updates to stakeholders on risk status and mitigation efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication (20%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, procurement teams, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
- Tailor communication styles to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Oversight (10%)
- Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the P2P processes.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis to enhance project outcomes.
5% - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing SAP projects, with a focus on procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.
- Proven experience with SAP ECC and Ariba implementations.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Strong understanding of P2P processes and SAP solutions, including configuration, integration, and implementation.
- Exceptional project management skills, with experience in risk management, planning, and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
