As we continue to expand our technological footprint across our manufacturing and corporate environments, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer to join our growing IT team.


Position Overview

The Senior Network Administrator / Network Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure. This hands-on position requires deep expertise in networking systems, security technologies, cloud networking, and enterprise monitoring.

This is an on-site position located in Fort Worth, TX, supporting a dynamic manufacturing and corporate environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and cloud-connected networks

  • Manage and secure firewalls, routing, switching, VLANs, IDS/IPS, and advanced security systems

  • Administer Azure or AWS networking (VPCs, VPN Gateways, hybrid connectivity)

  • Oversee network monitoring systems (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet analysis (Wireshark or similar tools)

  • Maintain high availability, network optimization, and security best practices

  • Support VoIP systems, wireless controllers, and SD-WAN environments

  • Document network architecture, configurations, and incident resolution processes

  • Collaborate with IT leadership to strengthen security posture & network performance


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network administration/engineering

  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, segmentation

  • Experience with enterprise network hardware (Cisco / Fortinet / Juniper)

  • Proficient in firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Wi-Fi networks, and security systems

  • Working knowledge of SIEM tools and log analysis

  • Experience with Azure or AWS networking and hybrid architectures

  • Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE, Network+, Security+, Azure Network Engineer, AWS Networking

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial IT settings

  • Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)

  • Familiarity with VoIP, wireless controllers, SD-WAN
