Role Summary
This is a senior-level technical position focused on supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite modules, including EAM, SCM, and Inventory. The role involves application development, system support, and upgrade activities, requiring strong technical expertise and effective collaboration with business users. The position demands working onsite at the corporate office in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and application development for Oracle EAM, SCM, and Inventory modules.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with Oracle Support as needed.
  • Design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements within Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather system requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.
  • Participate in change management activities, including user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
  • Configure and test Oracle E-Business Suite components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain extensive documentation of customizations, extensions, and system configurations.
  • Support system upgrades, notably from Oracle 12.2.10 to 12.2.15, and ensure smooth transition.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and complete all relevant change management procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT application development and support.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, specifically EAM, Inventory, and SCM modules.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle development tools including APEX, JAVA, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, and Workflow.
  • Experience with Oracle 12.2.10 and upgrades to 12.2.15 preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in an office environment in Houston, Texas.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Experience customizing applications with OAF and working within project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stressful situations efficiently.
  • Work authorization in the United States required.

Publishing Pay Range: $95.00 - $100.00 Hourly
