Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Manager to lead and support initiatives within the Risk and Compliance program, specifically focused on GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strong executor a doer who can take ownership of project deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive compliance efforts from planning through execution.

This role requires deep understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements, particularly related to GLBA in the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects focused on GLBA compliance, data privacy, and information security controls.
  • Collaborate with Legal, IT Security, Risk, and Business stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones and audit deliverables.
  • Identify gaps in existing controls and work with teams to implement remediation plans.
  • Facilitate compliance assessments, audits, and reporting related to GLBA and other regulatory mandates.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Engage in hands-on execution, including creating project artifacts, presentations, meeting notes, and risk summaries.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Project Management with a focus on Risk & Compliance, Information Security, or Regulatory Programs.
  • Strong understanding of GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) and its implications for financial institutions.
  • Proven experience in managing compliance or regulatory projects in the financial services domain.
  • Hands-on project management skills someone who can both lead and execute.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
