Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Enterprise Information Security Team. The Enterprise Information Security team is responsible for enabling secure innovation and business growth for over 10,000 employees across 44 states. EIS is rapidly growing and focused on creating a relevant program that will enable our organization's long-term success. The Cybersecurity Analyst will: - Identify, assess, and work with relationship owners to mitigate risks associated with organization's third-party relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and providing guidance to internal teams.
- Manage the Information Security Risk Assessment Queue.
- Learn to read, edit, and modify reports, perform assessments leveraging supplier provided documents to support the control strength.
- Contribute to the enhancement/refinement of the Information Security Risks & Controls library.
- Support and present evidence gathered during security risks assessment to executives, project managers, system owners, business unit managers and stake holders.
- Manage and perform cybersecurity assessments on emerging/ongoing business initiatives.
- Automate repeatable tasks through AI and development methods.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of third-party risk management methodologies and procedures.
- Work with teammates and other security teams to research, assess, and recommend improvements to the Zion Bancorporation environment.
Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical domains.
- Proficient in Python with basic automation skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for interpreting risk data.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risk analysis, security products, and systems.
- Knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Understanding of security standards and practices across networks, applications, databases, and data protection.
- Ability to apply security principles to diverse risk scenarios and balance business, technology, and security needs.
- Self-directed and capable of independently developing solutions with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, curiosity, initiative, and persistence in solving technical challenges.
- A bachelor's in computer science or other Information Systems related degree. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Location: This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
