Specific Position Requirements
Job Title: Foundry Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Waterloo, IA
Job Type: 1st and 3rd shift; primarily 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am; overtime possible
Pay range : $39- 46/hr on w2 ( Depends on Experience )
Duration : 3 years

Job Description:
As a Foundry OFP Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering projects across the foundry. Operating in a team environment, you will collaborate closely with other engineers, supervisors, and operators within the order fulfilment process.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute engineering projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work approximately 75% on the shop floor
Required Skills/Experiences:
- 1+ years of foundry/process engineering
- Effective team collaboration
- Project management skills
- Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Effective communication and problem solving skills
Desired Skills/Experiences:
- Manufacturing line/process design experience
- Experience with SAP, MES, Creo, AutoCAD
- Controls Engineering/safety system design experience
- Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Technology or relevant work experience
Additional Information:
- Business casual dress code; metatarsals required first day
- Potential travel to other facilities for training
- May drive a Gator inside the factory after completing training
- Visa sponsorship not available
- Manager open to recent grads with relevant internships
