Job Details

Establishes and/or maintains a system to record modifications to hardware, software, or documentation. Maintains allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support. Assists with the review of engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements. Maintains configuration control records and technical documents. Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience establishing and/or maintaining a system to record modification to hardware, software, or documentation.
  • Experience maintaining allocated, functional, and physical baseline control.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Must possess Secret Clearance

Additional Preferred Skills / Additional Relevant Experience / Additional Preferred Education:

  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAM Level I.
  • Proficiency in basic analytical software such as Microsoft Excel and Access, and proficiency with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Hold a Certificate in Configuration Management (CMII Certification or equivalent, PMP would also meet this requirement).
  • Possess an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 4 (V4) or newer certification and specific knowledge and experience with the ITIL framework.
  • Expert with first-hand knowledge of the development and maintenance of DLMS or (ASC) X12 Implementation Conventions using EDIFECS SpecBuilder software.
  • Knowledge and experience working with the following:

  • Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations, April 30, 2013
  • Technical skill in assessing IT services and support for best practices.
  • BS or BA degree in a relevant IT field or four (4) additional years of related experience.
