Job Details
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Coordinator III to join a leading North American provider of energy services. This role is pivotal in supporting and implementing a range of IT projects across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple small-scale projects, providing technical support, and ensuring all project deliverables meet the high standards expected in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This full-time position is based onsite and is projected to run through December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple small-scale IT projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Assist in the management of large-scale technical projects from initiation through to implementation, including planning, analysis, design development, and execution.
- Maintain detailed project plans, coordinate project activities, facilitate meetings, and track issues to resolution.
- Create and maintain essential project documentation such as audit checklists, status reports, meeting notes, and project schedules.
- Compile custom project status reports and presentations for management to aid in strategic planning and status analysis.
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budget, reporting status to stakeholders and making adjustments as necessary.
- Set up and manage project document repositories and ensure compliance with project standards and guidelines.
- Provide support to the Project Management Office (PMO) and ensure that project milestones, schedules, and budgetary goals are met.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree is required; a degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- At least four years of IT experience, with a minimum of three years in an IT project leadership role.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including server migrations and network upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of technical infrastructure and familiarity with change management processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, capable of working with various teams and management levels.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, MS Project, SharePoint) and project management software (e.g., Monday.com, SmartSheets).
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage one’s workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience in the energy sector is preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide innovative solutions and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-provided visa sponsorship.
Pay Range: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
