Job Title: Grants Systems Implementation Lead (Part-Time)- W2 Only
Location: Remote (Must work EST hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Duration: 2 Months contract with possibility of extensions
Hours/week: 32.65
Job Summary:
Agency is seeking a highly skilled Grants Systems Implementation Lead to lead enhancements to the GMS application to support the data needs of the new Nexus Grant. This part-time position requires a strategic thinker and effective communicator with extensive experience in grant-related systems and stakeholder engagement. Candidates must be available to work during EST business hours (M F, 8am 5pm).Agency's current GMS application lacks a structured mechanism for capturing critical data types such as CampData (GOSCiTech), program-level data, STEMDays, and similar objects. To resolve this, agency has designed a new configurable, grant-type-specific application flow and a set of additional data collection pages. This role will provide leadership in guiding the implementation, documentation, and cross-institutional coordination of this effort.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and consulting to agency internal teams
- Guide implementation of the redesigned application flow and new data collection modules.
- Oversee audit readiness, process documentation, and compliance assurance.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with external stakeholders.
- Maintain adherence to established timelines and deliverables.
Required Skills (Must Have):
- 5+ years of experience supervising teams and leading technology or grant-related initiatives.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with South Carolina grants and scholarship procedures.
- 2+ years of direct engagement with external stakeholders in an advisory or leadership capacity.
- Must be available to work 8am 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.
- Deep understanding of SC grants and scholarship policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities, with a focus on timely delivery.
Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of field experience.
