About the Role:

Job Title: Fullstack AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models usingAWS SageMakerandAWS Bedrock.
• IntegrateOCR toolsfor document processing and computer vision applications.
• Develop and maintain backend microservices usingJava, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to build responsive user interfaces usingAngular (20%).
• Optimize model performance and ensure scalability across cloud-native applications.
• Work closely with data engineers and DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain high code quality through test-driven development and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience withPalantir Foundry, including working with data pipelines and ontology management
• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong backend focus.
• Hands-on experience withAWS SageMakerandAWS Bedrock.
• Experience withOCR librariessuch as Tesseract, AWS Textract, or G Vision API.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred); Python experience is a plus.
• Basic proficiency inAngularfor building and maintaining frontend components.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, cloud-native architecture, and microservices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git).

Desired Qualifications:

• Banking and Financial Industry experience.
• Experience with prompt engineering and foundation models (LLMs).
• Exposure to MLOps tools and practices.
• AWS Certification (e.g., Machine Learning Specialty or Solutions Architect).

Location: Reston, VA OR Plano, TX (Hybrid Role)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120,000 $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
