RF and SOC Packaging Design Consultant
RF/SOC Packaging Design Consultant: This role is an excellent opportunity for someone that enjoys driving the critical path and contributing in launching our cellular infrastructure radio products into the market and winning!
We are looking for an RF/SOC Packaging Consultant to join our engineering team either in San Diego, Irvine, or San Jose.
Key Responsibilities
- Design laminate for a SiP (System in Package).
- Work with the design team to assess performance trade-offs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields desired.
- Ten or more years of proven experience in related field.
- Advanced familiarity with design methodologies and tools (Altium or Cadence SiP, etc.) for the laminate design of packages.
- Excellent knowledge of design trade offs related to RF isolation, matching and RF transmission lines.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- May need to create and present package design reviews.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with package design for wireless or wireline RF SOC products.
- Understanding EM simulations and verification.
