Job Duties:
- Plan for technology refresh and modernization initiatives
- Develop strategies for legacy system modernization
- Maintain compatibility with enterprise development standards
- Document all architecture decisions and trade-offs
- Create detailed system design and integration documentation
- Develop migration strategies and modernization roadmaps
- Establish technical review and approval processes
- Develop understanding of transportation and logistics processes
- Learn business analysis and requirements gathering
- Understand user experience and interface design
- Gain experience with process improvement and optimization
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years Java/J2EE enterprise development
- 5+ years AngularJS/frontend development
- 3+ years microservices and cloud development
- DoD application development experience (5+ years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spring Framework expertise,
- AWS/Azure cloud development experience
- DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience, Agile development methodologies
- Database design and optimization experience
- API development and integration experience
