Security Architect

Job Title: Identity Security Consultant
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months C2H
Location: REMOTE
Pay Rate: $71-76/hr

Day to Day:

• Work in the identity security group as an "audit function" for the different groups, focusing on best practices, identifying security vulnerabilities stemming from identities, and providing actionable recommendations


• Present data, findings, and recommendations to executives


• Communicate with technical folks and business stakeholders, explaining the "why" behind certain permissions


• Make suggestions on metrics they should be looking at/ gathering


• Recommend security-related roadmaps and tools


• Analyze existing access controls and recommend mitigations if over-privileged access or security gaps are found
  Keep up with and help define the current environment, which includes Entra ID, main ID, cloud identity entitlement management, and cloud threat detection, will be crucial.

Must Haves:

• 7+ years of identity security experience


• Strong understanding of identity security principles and best practices


• Familiarity with security-related roadmaps, tools, and the ability to suggest improvements


• PAM experience


• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps and IT engineering


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences (developers, security teams, executives)
