Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior JIRA / Atlassian Consultant to lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of enterprise-level Atlassian environments. This role will serve as the go-to expert for all things Atlassian, helping to streamline workflows, ensure smooth integrations, and drive efficiencies across DevOps and ITSM teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and customize Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools

  • Design and implement custom workflows, fields, dashboards, and automation rules

  • Integrate Jira with DevOps tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and other third-party systems

  • Deploy and optimize Jira Service Management (ITSM) in line with best practices

  • Oversee performance tuning, security configuration, and license management

  • Evaluate and implement Atlassian Marketplace plugins as needed

Required Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Jira Administration and Confluence Administration

  • Strong scripting skills using ScriptRunner, Groovy, JQL, and REST APIs

  • Proven ability to integrate Jira with DevOps toolchains

  • Familiarity with Jira Cloud or Data Center environments

  • Expertise with popular Atlassian Marketplace apps/plugins

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira Align, Advanced Roadmaps, or Portfolio for Jira

  • Agile or SAFe certifications

  • Exposure to enterprise ITIL/ITSM systems
