About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, experienced SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Transformation Lead to drive the end-to-end transformation of global OTC processes as part of a high-impact SAP program. This role is instrumental in leading SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) initiatives including integration with Vistex for Rights and Royalty Management and potential S/4HANA migration efforts. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technology partners to streamline operations, enhance revenue management, and improve overall efficiency through advanced SAP capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SAP OTC transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead global implementation and optimization of SAP SD/OTC processes as part of the Vistex Rights and Royalty Management initiative and/or S/4HANA upgrade.
- Drive improvements across core OTC functions: Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, Workflow, and Revenue Recognition (event/milestone-based).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Business Affairs, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure seamless process integration.
- Utilize AI, automation, and analytics tools to boost operational efficiency and user experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, providing guidance on system capabilities, best practices, and strategic enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), tax laws, and internal controls.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables and project success.
- Lead organizational change management, user adoption, and training efforts during project rollouts.
- Use enterprise tools (e.g., SAP ChaRM, testing tools, defect trackers) for documentation, support, and transition management.
- Provide post-go-live support, including user assistance and hypercare services.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP OTC/SD leadership roles within large, complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA OTC functions: Pricing, Order Management, Billing, Credit & Collections.
- Proven success in leading global SAP implementations and digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition, financial regulations, and related accounting principles.
- Demonstrated leadership in matrixed organizations with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical solutions to business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, RPA, and SAP Fiori.
- Experience managing global and offshore teams.
- Participation in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations (one must be S/4HANA).
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution Certification.
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of Vistex, EDI integrations, and SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM).
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent preferred).
