The Technology, Data, & Innovation (TDI) Platform Engineering group own a set of tools and platforms that are used by every single development team. Our mission is to provide a frictionless software delivery experience whilst safeguarding the integrity of the software supply chain. That means we both define governance and tooling to make it easy for teams to demonstrate compliance to those standards.
Overview
You'll be a well-seasoned software engineer with extensive experience and join a team of other enthusiastic professionals striving to innovate, design and build solutions that meet comprehensive requirements. You'll be very familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices and able to translate requirements into technical solutions whilst communicating effectively both in and outside your team. You'll have development skills, familiar with IDE's and development tool sets. You'll be a mentor in the team and help others build solutions and identify inaccuracies efficiently through reviews. You'll excel as an engineer and a role model for others to follow.

What You'll Do
- Strong experience and commitment to deliver in Agile process highlighting change while accelerating delivery
- Extensive experience for AVP , Moderate experience for Associate, Relevant experience for Analyst and overall hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, L3 Support or similar roles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with team culture
- Demonstrable experience of using market-leading development tools
Skills You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux operating systems and networking/infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Web/Application servers (Tomcat/Nginx/Haproxy)
- Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift, Helm
- Database & Monitoring basics, Programming / scripting for automation (Python/Shell)
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Working knowledge of database administration (Oracle, Postgres)
- Working knowledge of application monitoring (PrometheGrafana)
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Cloud
- JAVA based applications support, operations and troubleshooting
- DevOps tooling administration
